If you lose your card in Sweden or abroad, it’s important that you freeze the card immediately. The fastest way to do it is in the Mynt mobile app.
Freezing a card
- Log in to the app and select “cards” in the menu. Under Card Settings, click on the card you want to freeze.
- Click on “Freeze card”.
- In the app, you can also turn off the ability to withdraw money from cash machines and make online transactions.
You can also freeze the card in the web app
- Log in to your account at Mynt.com and go to “My Cards”.
- Click on the card you want to block and then click on the “Freeze card” button. Follow the instructions.

Tips for when you're travelling
Whether you’re on the road in Sweden or somewhere further afield, we recommend taking two cards and storing them in different places. That way, you’ll always have a backup in case of an accident. Make sure to carry your personal code and Mobile BankID with you so you can confirm your identity if you need to contact us.
Freeze card
Log in on the web or in the mobile app and go to "My Cards." Click on the card you want to block and then click the "Freeze Card" button, following the instructions.
